Year 3 pupils visited the Ashmolean Museum as part of their Ancient Egypt topic. They explored the galleries, examined original artefacts and worked as history detectives to uncover clues from the past.
The workshop focused on Egyptian gods, real mummies and mummified animals, providing a hands-on experience that enhanced pupils’ understanding of the topic and brought their classroom learning to life.
