Year 9 Scholarships
Holme Grange School offers a range of Year 9 scholarships designed to recognise and reward pupils who demonstrate exceptional talent, commitment and potential as they enter Senior School.
Scholarships are awarded on merit following a rigorous assessment process and are available in:

- Drama
- Music
- Sport

Scholarship assessments include subject-specific tasks or auditions, alongside interviews with the Headteacher and Head of Senior School.
Applying for a Year 9 Scholarship
Pupils may apply for up to two scholarships as part of their application to Year 9 at Holme Grange School.
All applications must be submitted via the online Year 9 Scholarship Application Form. As part of the process, families will be asked to indicate the scholarship(s) for which the pupil is applying and provide supporting information relevant to each area.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a Scholarship Assessment Day, where they will take part in subject-specific tasks or auditions, alongside an interview with the Headteacher and Head of Senior School.
Successful scholars are expected to uphold the highest standards, demonstrate leadership and make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school. Scholarships are reviewed annually to ensure pupils continue to meet the expectations of the award.
