Our Year 6 pupils treated Pre-Prep and Prep audiences to a wonderful morning of pantomime, showcasing two lively and entertaining productions. Class 6M brought the magic to the stage with Aladdin and the Magical Christmas Ball, while 6A delighted audiences with their adventurous performance of Jack and the Beanstalk – The Christmas Rescue.
Both pantomimes were performed with confidence, humour and enthusiasm, capturing the attention of younger pupils and prompting plenty of smiles, giggles and laughter throughout the hall. The performances reflected the pupils’ growing maturity as performers, as well as their ability to engage, entertain and connect with an audience.
These productions highlight the school’s commitment to a broad and balanced education, where creative arts sit alongside academic learning. Through drama, pupils develop confidence, communication skills, teamwork and resilience, all essential qualities for life beyond the classroom. It was also a valuable opportunity for older pupils to inspire younger children, strengthening connections across the school community.
