The Farm
At Holme Grange, learning extends far beyond the classroom, and the school farm is a much-loved part of daily life. Set within the grounds of the school, the farm gives your child the opportunity to connect with nature, care for animals and experience hands-on learning in a meaningful and memorable way.
Home to goats, guinea pigs, gerbils and the school’s much-loved resident peacocks, the farm is woven into the everyday experience of Holme Grange. From Nursery through to Senior School, children spend time with the animals, learn about responsibility and sustainability, and enjoy the wellbeing that comes from being outdoors and connected to the natural world.
For some children, the farm is a place of curiosity and discovery. For others, it offers a sense of calm, confidence and routine. It is one of the many ways Holme Grange creates an environment where children feel grounded, inspired and encouraged to explore the world around them.
Alongside the school’s woodland, outdoor spaces and extensive grounds, the farm plays an important role in the distinctive character of Holme Grange and the rich experiences that shape each child’s school journey.
