Our Mission: Every Child Can Thrive
At Holme Grange we are driven by a passion to give every child the tools they need to live a happy and fulfilled life both in and out of the classroom. Our mission is to inspire achievement beyond the bounds of expectation where everyone can succeed. Here children can challenge themselves, develop skills for life and grasp every opportunity. Our academic standards are high but so is the desire to see students discover their own strengths and make the most of their natural abilities. We warmly invite you to learn more about the world of opportunities that awaits your child at Holme Grange to give them the Holme Advantage.
Independent Learners for Life
Pupils at Holme Grange are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning. We enable this by instilling our Learning Habits and Values across all year groups and throughout the school day. When pupils leave Holme Grange we want them to have acquired exceptional qualifications, picked up transferable skills for life and matured into exceptional people.
At Holme Grange, divergent thinking and the freedom to learn from mistakes are all encouraged. Academic excellence, underpinned by a focus on the individual enables first-rate teaching and learning to thrive. Pupils are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning, develop good work habits and gain a sense that learning can thrill and invigorate.
Our motto is at the heart of everything we do as a community. Our staff, governors and parents work as a collective to support and nurture the young people at our School, helping them to be confident, creative and compassionate citizens. Holme Grange is a friendly, vibrant community where people matter, results count and a passion for excellence drives everything we do. We are a school with a real heart and soul, where we look beyond the grades to offer a breadth of opportunity which allows every pupil to flourish and every staff member to develop and succeed.
