As part of Service Day, Eaton Grange pupil Harry led a thoughtful initiative to honour the past while supporting the school community through the restoration of Holme Grange’s First World War trench.
Younger pupils took part through Forest School guided by students in Years 9 and 10. Together they replaced sandbags, refreshed pathways with wood chippings and revitalised a valued learning space.
This collaborative effort stands as a reminder of how teamwork, respect and reflection can bring history to life and strengthen community spirit at Holme Grange.
