The Senior part of our School was opened in 2015 and is called Eaton Grange in a nod to our heritage. We’ve seen our pupil numbers in Year 11 grow from just 2 in 2015 to over 50 in 2021. At Holme Grange we have a proven history of teaching our senior students with excellent results. Our commitment to personalised learning provides them with an invaluable advantage as they move onto the next stages of their educational journey. Supported, guided and challenged by dedicated and passionate staff, Eaton Grange students can personalise their academic programme through the broad range of subjects available in the run up to their GCSEs.
Pastoral Care
During Years 7 – 11 pupil welfare is at the heart of everything we do. In Eaton Grange pupils develop into adolescence in a familiar and nurturing environment. This results in confident individuals who are strong independent learners and are ready to take on life’s challenges.
Leadership
As the most senior students in the School, they have ample opportunity to develop their leadership potential by taking on leadership roles. They can earn positions such as Head of School and Head of House and will represent Holme Grange at events. In Year 11 students are encouraged to become Peer Mentors for those in Year 7. Peer mentors will be trained in listening skills and are there to support anyone who might be struggling. These roles can help develop a sense of self-worth and moral responsibilities.
