Careers Facilities

The library has comprehensive careers resources on further and higher education, apprenticeships and employment opportunities. There are also careers resources that focus on the needs of pupils in Years 10 and 11.

Careers Fair

Employers are invited to talk to our pupils and parents one evening in the autumn term about the opportunities available to them. Years 7 to 11 are welcome to attend. The event is held biennially.

Sixth Form Fair

In addition, we invite representatives from universities, gap year organisations and local colleges and schools to the Sixth Form Fair. The fair is open to pupils in Years 9 to 11 and is held biennially.

Morrisby Testing

This is available for pupils in Year 7 and upwards. The assessment and technology help pupils discover a career path that inspires them.

Relationship Between Parents and Careers

Holme Grange has a strong relationship with parents and carers, regularly involving them in careers assemblies, careers week, interviews and Sixth Form and Careers Fairs.
