Parent Conference

Biennial Event for Parents

Our 3rd Conference will take place on Saturday 29th January 2022 and is entitled Healthy Me, Healthy Planet.

The conference will focus on how we can improve our own wellness and at the same time help to contribute to a healthy planet. We recognise that it’s not easy to achieve these goals and we hope that today can help support our communal education. Here is a flavour of what we’ll be covering in January.

  • Supporting children and young people with sleep
  • Fixing fashion: How we got here and what we do next.
  • Letting go of being a perfect parent. How to coach our children rather than rescue them.
  • Nature & wellbeing: how to make the most of our time outdoors.
  • Year 9 Sustainability Curriculum presentation
  • Ecological site survey, understanding how to identify trees and hedgerows.
  • Sexual Harassment & Gender-Based Violence: understanding what young people are experiencing
  • How to talk to the future generation about gender
  • Practical ways to down-regulate from anxious states: from the melt-down zone, to deep calm as a preparation for accessing sleep
  • Baking for pleasure
  • The importance of nutrition for supporting mood and cognitive function

Tickets cost £25 each. To book a ticket please complete the form below.
