Mrs Robinson Leaps for Link!

“I survived! And had a ball!”

Mrs Robinson has both feet back on solid ground after she launched herself from an aeroplane at 15,000 feet and then went into freefall at 120mph to raise money for the Link Visiting Scheme. The Link has been helping older people confront the effects of loneliness and social isolation for more than 10 years, offering a wide range of services focused on delivering their key purpose: “Confronting Loneliness, Celebrating Friendship”.

The weather cancelled play on Saturday but Mrs Robinson jumped on Sunday – and here is the photo to prove it!

THANK YOU –  to all those who sponsored the Holme Grange Jumpers!

The Link Charity is a great local charity which brings company and friendship to many elderly people who would otherwise be very lonely.

A very worthy cause and the jump was part of The Link’s Friendship Week 2017. Help The Link raise £10,000. Donate on the web at:
