We are delighted to celebrate the achievement of Makenzie-Lee who has published her debut book Meowtastical: A New World, the first instalment in what promises to be an exciting new series.
Inspired by author Rick Riordan, Makenzie-Lee wrote and illustrated the book herself before publishing it through Tellwell.
She has already presented signed copies to her friends and donated one to the school library where it has been warmly received. Pupils and staff have praised her imagination and engaging storytelling and many are looking forward to the next book in the series.
This is an impressive accomplishment for such a young writer. Congratulations Makenzie-Lee, your creativity and dedication shine through in your work.
