Year 9 and Year 10 were lucky to have such an entertaining session from BOC, the leading industrial supplier of specialist gases. BOC demonstrated various reactions and changes when working with gas.
Liquid nitrogen was fascinating and the pupils experimented with freezing various items in the nitrogen. It was easy to see all the applications that these techniques would have in industry.
