Our Silver pupils began their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award weekend by completing the first stage of their expedition before settling into camp ready for the days ahead. The award offers far more than time outdoors. It helps pupils grow in independence, resilience, teamwork and problem-solving while creating lasting memories with friends. The sunshine certainly added to the experience.
As the weekend continued, our Silver group showed determination and teamwork as they navigated the challenges of their journey. At the same time our Bronze pupils set out on their own adventure, stepping forward with confidence and commitment.
Each step, each camp and each shared experience helps pupils develop resilience, strengthen independence and discover personal strengths that reach far beyond the weekend itself.
Both expeditions have now finished and it has been a weekend filled with challenge, achievement and new skills.
Well done to all.
