Enrichment

Life at Holme Grange extends far beyond the classroom. Our enrichment programme is designed to inspire curiosity, build confidence and encourage children to discover new interests and talents.

With more than 70 clubs running each week, pupils can explore a wide range of activities that evolve termly and reflect the interests of the children themselves. Opportunities are available across sport, creativity, performance, technology and leadership, creating a vibrant and varied co-curricular experience for every age group.

Alongside traditional sports and activities, pupils can take part in opportunities such as badminton, table tennis, golf and archery, while creative clubs include Drama, Chess, Fashion and Textiles.

Many clubs are included within school fees, ensuring broad access for all pupils. Alongside these, Holme Grange also offers distinctive specialist experiences such as Sugar Craft and Flying Club.

Flying Club

Flying Club is one of the school’s most unique enrichment opportunities. Working alongside an experienced former pilot and in partnership with British Young Pilots, pupils use flight simulators, develop their understanding of aviation and even experience flying a real aircraft every half term.

Wraparound Care

We understand the demands of modern family life and offer flexible, high-quality wraparound care to support both pupils and parents.

From Breakfast Club at the start of the day to Extended Day and Prep Club after school, children are cared for in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment until 5:45pm Monday to Thursday and 5:30pm on Fridays.

Our wraparound provision is complemented by a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities, ensuring time beyond the classroom remains engaging, purposeful and enjoyable.

To support busy family routines further, Holme Grange operates a minibus network, with routes reviewed regularly to meet the needs of families across the local area.
