This week has been filled with inspiration, discovery and valuable career insights as students engaged with professionals from a range of industries.
Monday saw the Army kick things off with an engaging assembly, followed by an elite skills course for Year 10, focusing on teamwork, problem-solving and leadership.
On Tuesday, ASK Apprenticeships delivered an insightful talk featuring a newly recruited solicitor apprentice, selected from over 400 applicants – a truly inspiring journey!
Wednesday brought a visit from a Microsoft Director, who shared insights into career pathways, industry opportunities and the evolving role of AI in the workplace.
On Thursday, Careers Week aligned with Science Week as we heard from a former surgeon who, after 12 years in surgery, transitioned into vaccine development and global health.
Finally, on Friday, we rounded off the week with a fascinating session from a neuroscientist and AI specialist, exploring the intersection of science and technology.
