History

Holme Grange, opened in 1945 as a boarding school for boys aged 7 – 13 years. In the mid 1970’s it changed to become a co–educational independent day school educating girls and boys aged 3 – 13 years.

The school occupies a former country manor house which is Grade II listed and was built in 1883 by the architect Norman Shaw. In recent years many new extensions have been added including a large sports hall, science laboratory and an ICT Suite.

In 2005 Holme Grange proudly celebrated 60 years of providing excellent education by a full modernisation and extension of Little Grange Nursery.
