Pre Prep
Pre-Prep incorporates Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 , the department aims to inspire every child in a happy and structured environment.
Each year group has two classes staffed by a qualified teacher and a teaching assistant. Emphasis is placed on literacy and numeracy and supported by a broad range of activities and subjects throughout the curriculum, building skills to support future learning within the school. Pupils progress through the Pre Prep is monitored and reviewed on a half termly basis and target setting is used to plan pupils progression with great effect.
Year 1 Pupil
Purpose built Reception classes with an outdoor classroom provide an environment where children can learn in a range of contexts and apply their learning to different situations. An extended day facility is available up until 6pm, Reception and Year 1 join the nursery for tea and play – while Year 2 are able to take part in the wide range of after school clubs.
