Pastoral

Outstanding pastoral care ensures that pupils are safe and happy. We take great pride in the fact that the quality of relationships between pupils and staff is a great strength of our school.

We aim to ensure every pupil is treated as an individual and has the opportunity and support to reach their full potential, is stretched and challenged and motivated to succeed. Our community is one where diversity is valued and tolerance and empathy encouraged, respect for others and good manners are considered to be essential. 

We have a fully equipped first aid room on site, where minor injuries can be treated or children can be cared for in comfort should they need to go home. We employ a full time Registered Nurse based on site and all staff are First Aid qualified. In addition, early years staff have undergone further Paediatric First Aid Training.

Holme Grange School produces confident, happy and articulate children who are true all rounders. The Holme Grange child recognises their own self worth and that of others.
