Year 3 Visit to Highclere Castle

Year 3 visited Highclere Castle in Newbury recently to learn more about Ancient Egpyt.
Highclere Castle is the home of the Carnavon family, Lord Carnavon and Howard Carter discovered the tomb of the boy Pharoah Tutankhamun in 1922. There are many antiquities on display and the children enjoyed the opportunity to dress as Ancient Egyptian royalty!
