James Carter Poetry Workshop

Pupils from Reception to Year 8 attended a Performance Poetry Workshop run by Poet James Carter.
James is a popular and regular visitor to Primary schools all over the UK and abroad - where he gives poetry (with music) performances and workshops. James has degrees in Primary Education with English B.Ed (Hons) and Children's Literature MA (with distinction) both from the University of Reading.
The children really enjoyed their day and were inspired to write some excellent poetry of their own afterwards, a selection of which we will compiling into a booklet.
