AUTUMN 2005

Little Grange re-opened by Andrew MacKay MP

Little Grange Nursery was extended and improved during the summer, as part of Holme Grange’s 60th Anniversary Celebrations.

On a rather overcast Friday morning the children of Little Grange arrived to find the nursery bedecked with flowers and balloons. The children were looking forward to greeting their parents, parents with children due to join Little Grange, members of the Board of Governors and special guest The Rt. Hon. Andrew MacKay for the official re-opening of the newly extended nursery.

Mr and Mrs Brodrick welcomed everyone before inviting Mr MacKay, MP for Bracknell, to cut the ribbon. Mr MacKay asked some of the children to help him; he then presented each child with a special Holme Grange teddy bear as a memento of the occasion.

Guests were able to enjoy light refreshments and to take the opportunity to look at the photographic displays and to see the nursery in action.
