A former pupil had been working hard in the Education Department of Legoland to fund her gap year around the world. Holme Grange was therefore a good choice when twenty Year 4 pupils were needed to trial a new geography workshop. We accepted this challenge with delight! The children had great fun and in no time at all had created a mini city and village. Not to be left behind, the remainder of Year 4 carried out various experiments on saving electricity.
After a scenic stroll around Miniland, followed by lunch, we were treated to the action packed Johnny Thunder Show. Afterwards in groups the children did their best to charge around Legoland with what seemed to be the sole intention of getting as wet as possible. One teacher enjoyed the Viking ride so much she had to go on it again! A fantastic day was had by all, albeit wet and exhausting! |
