For the second successive year Cantabile was invited to sing at this special concert for the charity Pro Autism. Held at Woodley Baptist Church, it was a delightful mixture of solo/group singing, magic, laughter and puppetry.
There was something for everyone and all the performers rose to the occasion. Twenty seven members of Cantabile were present and they dazzled the audience with their six songs, including two with a strong Easter theme. The material chosen often had the choir singing in two parts, which is challenging at the best of times.
Ex-pupil, and future West End starlet, Felicity Guy performed her two solos brilliantly and she was so supportive and complimentary about her former schoolmates. Special thanks must go to our inspirational singing teacher, Richard Gobs, for the opportunity and we can’t wait for next year!
