In celebration of World Book Day, the School gave everybody the opportunity to dress up as a favourite book character. As might be expected, Harry Potter characters abounded and several boys reminded us that James Bond was originally a book character. A planned trio of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe featured and two of the 101 Dalmatians appeared to keep Cruella de Ville company.
Many staff took part with impromptu Mary Poppins and Little Red Riding Hood teacher/pupil pairings looking, respectively, stern and seemingly unafraid in the absence of a wolf.
In the afternoon,
visiting netball players were somewhat puzzled to find a Dalmatian officiating!
