In Years 3 and 4 Form Teachers take their children for all subjects except Science, French, ICT, Music and Games which are taught by specialists.
From Year 5 until Year 8 children continue in mixed ability forms taught by subject specialists.
In Years 5 and 6 children are set for Maths and in Year 6 for French.
During this time the curriculum prepares both boys and girls for Common Entrance at 11 or 13 years of age.
The School aims to provide a first class education for children of all abilities.
Academically able children are prepared for Scholarship examinations while those with specific learning difficulties receive assistance from the Learning Support Department.
